About Our Company Formed in 2003, Custom Auger Systems LTD is a joint venture between Art Drumm (founder and former owner of Marysville Rotary Broom, Marysville OH) and Tom Mash (partner, Mash Mechanical LLC, Knoxville TN). Art's years of working with augers in the broom industry led to the successful start-up of an internet garden auger and tree planter business. Later, by combining forces with 2nd generation plumbing contractor Tom Mash, the duo successfully designed and built the first drill-operated horizontal earth boring sets. The pair was granted a U.S. Patent for this "ground-breaking" product in January 2003. Since then, horizontal boring sets have sold across the nation and around the world. |
